Qualifications:
- 8+ years of IT experience with hands-on Big Data engineering expertise.
- Optimize Spark jobs processing very large datasets.
- Hands-on with Git and Azure analytics services (Data Lake, Databricks).
- Experience with Azure compute (VMs, Functions), Blob Storage, and related services.
- Build ETL pipelines handling CSV/TSV/XML/JSON and multi-record/fixed-width formats.
- Profile and mine data; create data pipelines for new features and sources.
- Familiarity with Azure DBs/DynamoDB is good to have.
- Use Jenkins and Azure DevOps for CI/CD and automated release pipelines.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Tech Skills
- Spark / Scala (data-analytics focus)
- Big Data frameworks and optimization techniques
- Bash / shell scripting (plus)
- Experience building ETL processes for varied file formats
- CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, Azure DevOps
