Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Visa Counsellor / Immigration Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling clients regarding visa and immigration processes, understanding their requirements, guiding them through documentation and application procedures, and ensuring timely follow-ups.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong client-handling abilities, and a good understanding of visa processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel clients regarding visa, immigration, and overseas education opportunities based on their profile and requirements.
- Understand clients’ needs and provide accurate information regarding suitable visa options and processes.
- Guide clients through visa application procedures, documentation, and eligibility requirements.
- Review and verify client documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients and ensure timely completion of application requirements.
- Handle client queries through calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, and follow-up activities using CRM tools.




- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of client applications.
- Stay updated on changes in visa rules, immigration policies, documentation requirements, and application procedures.
- Manage multiple clients and applications simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the visa/immigration process.
- Achieve assigned counselling and conversion targets, where applicable.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in Visa Counselling, Immigration, Overseas Education, Travel & Immigration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and client-handling abilities.
- Valuable knowledge of visa processes, eligibility criteria, and documentation.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with CRM tools will be an added advantage.
- Positive attitude, professional approach, and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in immigration consultancy, visa consultancy, overseas education, or travel and immigration services will be preferred.
