BU/ DIVISIONChannel Marketing & Sales StrategyJOB PURPOSECategory Planning and Activation Manager is responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to drive business growthKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to drive growth and innovation.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D;, creative, and media agencies) to increase brand awareness and market share.
- New Product Development: Identify and develop new product opportunities with R&D.;
- Channel-Specific Plans: Create growth and communication plans for specific channels.
- Asset Development: Develop point-of-sale materials, visibility, and merchandise.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Analyze market and competitor trends to identify business opportunities.
- Consumer and Shopper Insights: Understand consumer and shopper behavior to identify trends.
- Category forecast & planning:



Actively engage with sales team & supply chain in forecast planning of active, slow moving, phased out lines for the category

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONSMasters degree
WORK EXPERIENCE

- 5-10 years of experience in category management, marketing, or sales
- FMCG or FMCD marketing experience, with brand deployment and new product development expertise.
