We are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Consultant with robust expertise in Flexera Administration and Software Asset Management operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAM tools, software licensing compliance, audit support, and software optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Flexera for day-to-day Software Asset Management operations.
- Execute SAM engagements including current-state assessments, software license reviews, and optimization initiatives.
- Analyze software license agreements, deployments, and entitlement data to determine effective license positions.
- Support software compliance audits and provide license optimization recommendations.
- Evaluate SAM processes, tools, and organizational maturity to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver SAM-related insights.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Support Tier-1 software publisher licensing assessments and compliance management activities.
Required Skills
- 4-6 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Strong hands-on experience as a Flexera Administrator.
- Experience working with SAM tools such as Flexera and/or ServiceNow SAM.
- Good understanding of software licensing, compliance rules, and audit management.
- Exposure to Tier-1 publisher licensing analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
