Roles and Responsibilities

- Examining tissue and biopsy samples to identify diseases such as cancer, infections, and inflammatory conditions.
- Performing and interpreting histopathology, cytology, hematology, and clinical pathology investigations.
- Preparing accurate and detailed pathology reports for physicians and patients.
- Performing or supervising procedures such as fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and biopsies, where applicable.
- Communicating diagnostic findings with surgeons, physicians, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Providing guidance on additional tests or investigations needed to establish a diagnosis.
- Maintaining quality control, laboratory safety, and compliance with medical standards and regulations.
- Keeping accurate patient records and maintaining confidentiality of medical information.
- Staying updated on new diagnostic techniques, medical research,



and advances in pathology.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2-4 years of experience in pathology.
- Valid, active registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission.
- MD or DNB from a recognized institution.
- Solid knowledge of clinical pathology principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, doctors, and other stakeholders.
