We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Commis Chefs at Commi I and Commi II levels to join our Continental Kitchen team. Whether you're an experienced commis or building your culinary career, we have a role suited to your experience level.

About the Role

Commis Chefs assist in the daily preparation and cooking of food, working under the guidance of senior chefs. Responsibilities and expectations increase with seniority (Commi I being the most experienced, Commi II being entry-level).

Position Levels & Requirements
Commi I (Senior Commis)
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Continental cuisine in the required Position
- Strong knowledge of Continental food preparation, cooking techniques, sauces, and kitchen operations
- Ability to independently handle a section under supervision
- Basic understanding of menu planning, portion control, and food costing
- Can guide and train Commi II

Commi II (Mid-Level Commis)




- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Continental cuisine in the required Position
- Valuable knowledge of basic Continental cooking methods, cutting techniques, and food safety
- Able to assist Commi I and Chef de Partie in food prep and cooking
- Familiar with kitchen equipment and hygiene standards

Common Responsibilities (All Levels)
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking Continental dishes (soups, sauces, grills, pastas, salads, etc.) as per standard recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (HACCP or equivalent)
- Support senior chefs during service and peak hours
- Manage stock, storage, and minimize wastage
- Work collaboratively as part of the kitchen team
