Prepare the Operation Theatre for scheduled and emergency surgeries.
- Receive and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring identification and required documentation.
- Check surgical instruments, equipment, consumables, and emergency supplies before procedures.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures as Scrub Nurse or Circulating Nurse.
- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques throughout the procedure.
- Arrange and handle surgical instruments and supplies according to the procedure.
- Perform and document instrument, swab, needle, and sponge counts before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist the surgeon and anaesthetist during surgical and anaesthesia procedures.
- Monitor the patient's condition and vital signs and promptly report any abnormalities.
