- Perform assembly and integration of mechanical and opto-mechanical subsystems.
- Conduct functional, environmental, and vibration tests as per defined standards.
- Troubleshoot assembly and test issues; implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain test reports, assembly documentation, and calibration records.
- Support design and prototype teams in validation and pre-production testing.
- Work with vendors and suppliers for tooling, jigs, and test fixture development.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in all assembly/test operations.
- Provide technical feedback to design teams for product improvement.
Preferred candidate profile
- ITI/Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, or related field.
- 1-4 years of skilled experience in mechanical assembly of electro-mechanical products/components.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
- Conducting visual inspections and functional checks during assembly
- Ensuring assembly quality and adherence to processes
- Ability to troubleshoot assembly fitment issues
Desired Technical Skill:
- Strong knowledge on using hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools, pneumatic tools
- Familiarity with fasteners, fittings, seals, and torque requirements
- Knowledge of basic electrical connections, wiring, and cable routing (added advantage)
- Maintaining 5S and safety standardsat the workstation
