Job Description Site Engineer (Civil)
Position: Site Engineer Civil
Experience: 3 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Purpose
To supervise and coordinate day-to-day civil construction and maintenance activities at the project/site, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, timelines and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day civil construction and site activities.
- Monitor execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Check quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Monitor quantities, measurements and work progress.
- Review and interpret civil drawings and identify site-level requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to approved specifications.
- Track project progress and report deviations, delays and site issues to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate civil works including RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, waterproofing and related activities.
- Ensure proper utilisation of materials, manpower and equipment at site.
- Maintain daily site reports, measurement records, work progress reports and relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable standards.
- Support estimation,



vendor/contractor coordination and material planning, as required.
- Identify and resolve routine site issues in coordination with the concerned teams.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned works within cost and quality parameters.

Desired Skills & Competencies

- Positive knowledge of civil construction practices and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements and BOQ.
- Good contractor and site coordination skills.
- Strong attention to quality and timelines.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site supervision.
- Experience in institutional, commercial or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
