Location Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities

- Attend and resolve mechanical breakdowns of production and utility equipment.
- Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick restoration of equipment.
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, shafts, couplings and pneumatic systems.
- Handle maintenance of roasters, conveyors, packing/FFS machines, filling and capping machines, peanut processing machines, chikki machines and peanut butter processing equipment.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and allocate daily jobs.
- Guide technicians during breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
- Train technicians on troubleshooting,



maintenance practices and safety.
- Identify opportunities for machine modification, Kaizen and productivity improvement.
- Support installation and commissioning of current machines and coordinate with vendors.
- Identify critical spare parts and coordinate with Stores/Purchase for availability.
- Maintain breakdown, PM, machine history and spare consumption records.
- Monitor Breakdown Hours, MTBF, MTTR, Machine Availability, PM Compliance and OEE.
- Ensure maintenance activities follow safety, LOTO, housekeeping, GMP and food-industry hygiene requirements

- Required Qualifications
- • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
- • Experience in food processing, FMCG, packaging or manufacturing industry preferred
