Job Prospect: Immediate Hiring for National Highway Project

Project Type: National Highway / Railway Project.

Designation: AGM/ DGM - Contracts

Core Responsibilities

1. Contract Administration & Compliance

- Contract Analysis: Interpret complex concession agreements, EPC contracts, and FIDIC-based documents to identify financial risks, liabilities, and ambiguous clauses.
- Compliance Framework: Establish rigorous contract compliance matrix tools for site execution teams to monitor key project milestones and obligations.
- Contract Interpretation: Provide legal and practical contract interpretations to project directors regarding execution disputes, delays, and scope boundaries.

2. Claims & Dispute Management (EOT)

- Claim Preparation: Build comprehensive Extension of Time (EOT) and prolongation cost claims using critical path analysis data (e.g., Primavera P6 logs).
- Risk Mitigation: Defend the company against Liquidated Damages (LD) and penalty impositions by clients like NHAI or MoRTH.
- Dispute Resolution:



Lead formal dispute mechanisms, including the Dispute Review Board (DRB), Conciliation Committees, and Arbitration proceedings.

3. Subcontractor & Vendor Management

- Agreement Drafting: Draft, standardise, and execute robust back-to-back subcontracts for earthwork, structures, paving, and specialized tolling systems.
- Commercial Negotiation: Direct high-value commercial negotiations with critical vendors, flyover subcontractors, and material suppliers.
- Dispute Settlement: Reconcile final accounts, close out commercial variations, and resolve contractual deadlocks with site subcontractors.

4. Variation & Change of Scope (CoS)

- Change Management: Identify, document, and quantify Change of Scope (CoS) items or variations resulting from alignment changes, extra structures, or utility shifts.
- Rate Analysis: Oversee detailed structural rate analysis for non-BOQ (Bill of Quantities) items and secure formal client approval for new rates.
