Job Summary:

We are looking for a Process Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing processes at our API manufacturing plant. The role will be responsible for process improvement, troubleshooting, scale-up, and ensuring protected, efficient and compliant plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and optimize API manufacturing processes to improve productivity, yield and quality.
- Handle process troubleshooting and identify root causes of process deviations.
- Develop and implement process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support scale-up, process validation and technology transfer activities.
- Prepare and review process-related documents, SOPs, batch records and process reports.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering and R&D; teams for smooth process execution.
- Ensure processes comply with cGMP, EHS and applicable regulatory requirements.




- Analyze process data and identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing process losses.
- Support plant trials, new product introduction and process modifications.
- Provide technical support to the production team for day-to-day process-related issues.

Candidate Profile:

- B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in API/pharmaceutical chemical manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, reaction chemistry and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and process improvement at plant scale.
- Good knowledge of cGMP, process safety and EHS practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
