Roles & Responsibilities Chartered Accountant (Real Estate)

- Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for real estate projects.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor project-wise budgets, cost allocation, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Handle direct and indirect tax planning, return filing, and assessments.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts for management.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee capitalization of project costs.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and month-end/year-end processes.
- Manage banking operations, fund flow, working capital, and loan documentation.
- Liaise with financial institutions for project finance, CC limits, and term loans.
- Verify land acquisition, development, and construction-related financial transactions.
- Support RERA compliance, project accounting,



and escrow account management.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend cost optimization measures.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and company policies.
- Supervise accounting staff and review accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Assist management in strategic financial planning and business decision-making.
- Handle due diligence, financial documentation, and support during mergers, acquisitions, or new project launches.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, taxation, and real estate regulations.

Preferred Skills

- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act compliance.
- Experience in project accounting and cost control.
- Understanding of RERA regulations and project finance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP software).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
