- Role Summary
The Quality Check Intern will support the QC team in ensuring all IT hardware assets (laptops, desktops, accessories) meet company quality standards before dispatch. The role involves testing, inspection, documentation, and coordination with inventory and support teams.
- Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection & Testing- Assist in testing laptops, desktops, and IT hardware components.
- Perform basic checks for:
- Power functionality
- Display and keyboard
- Ports and connectivity
- RAM, SSD, and system performanceIdentify and report faulty or damaged assets.
System Setup & Configuration- Support OS installation and basic software configuration.Ensure systems are ready for deployment as per company standards.
Asset Segregation & Handling- Segregate assets into categories: Ready, Repair, Faulty.
- Ensure proper labeling and tagging of tested assets.Handle assets carefully to avoid damage during QC processes.
Documentation & Reporting- Maintain QC records and update testing status in system/register.
- Assist in preparing QC reports and status updates.Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward QC activities.
Coordination & Support- Coordinate with Inventory, Logistics, and Support teams.
- Assist in preparing assets for dispatch after QC clearance.Support in managing QC workspace and maintaining cleanliness.
Eligibility Criteria- Pursuing or recently completed Diploma / Graduation (IT, Electronics, or related field preferred).Basic understanding of computers and hardware components.
