Key Responsibilities
- Drive the annual buying plan aligned with budgeted value and volume targets.
- Handle end-to-end merchandising operations for the D2C business.
- Lead sourcing and vendor management to ensure competitive costing and quality delivery.
- Implement supplier segmentation, spend analysis, and vendor performance tracking.
- Develop and present product ranges based on consumer insights and market trends.
- Support merchandising strategy and category P&L; management.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, trend analysis, and market research for product development.
- Maintain an optimal assortment mix across pricing, quality, and styling.
- Analyze weekly, seasonal, and annual sell-through reports to optimize buying decisions.
- Shortlist and evaluate suppliers based on commercial and technical capabilities.
- Ensure timely delivery of merchandise as per assortment and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with Design, Production, and Sampling teams for smooth execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop merchandising team members.
