- Perform mechanical assembly of components, structures, and subsystems according to engineering drawings and work instructions
- Operate basic workshop tools and machinery used in production and fabrication
- Assist in installation, fitting, and alignment of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Support testing, inspection, and quality verification of mechanical assemblies
- Interpret mechanical drawings, technical documents, and assembly procedures
- Maintain production records and documentation related to assembly activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
- Work closely with engineers and production teams during builds and prototype development
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or issues during assembly and report them to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Polytechnic in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field
- 0 - 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production
- Basic understanding of mechanical components, fasteners, and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Positive teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
- Experience with precision assembly or fabrication processes
- Aerospace or defense industry experience is a plus
