We are looking for a Senior Okta IGA / IAM Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Okta Identity Cloud, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and Identity & Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and automating enterprise identity solutions using the Okta platform.

The role requires robust expertise in identity lifecycle management, application integrations, access governance, automation, and Okta development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise IAM/IGA solutions using Okta Identity Cloud.
- Configure and manage Okta IGA capabilities, including Access Requests, Access Certifications, Resource Catalogs, and access governance workflows.
- Build and maintain Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes for automated identity lifecycle management.
- Develop identity automation using Okta Workflows, including approvals, notifications, provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle events.
- Develop and integrate custom solutions using Okta Event Hooks, Inline Hooks, REST APIs, and Okta SDKs.
- Design and implement enterprise application integrations using SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM.
- Configure and administer Universal Directory, Profile Editor, Profile Mapping, Group Rules, and IdP/Federation.
- Support application onboarding and integration with Okta, including authentication, provisioning, and authorization requirements.
- Implement identity governance controls to support least-privilege access, periodic access reviews,



and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex authentication, provisioning, federation, and lifecycle-management issues.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to define and implement IAM solutions.

- Strong hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud / Okta IAM.
- Strong experience with Okta IGA / Identity Governance, including:

- Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows for identity lifecycle automation, approvals, notifications, and integrations.
- Strong experience with Okta Developer capabilities, including:

- Event Hooks
- Inline Hooks
- REST APIs
- Okta SDKs

- Solid understanding and implementation experience of JML / Identity Lifecycle Management.
- Strong expertise in enterprise identity protocols:

- SAML 2.0
- OIDC
- OAuth 2.0
- SCIM

- Hands-on experience with Okta Administration and Integration, including:

- Universal Directory
- Profile Editor
- Profile Mapping
- Group Rules
- IdP / Federation

Good to Have

- Experience integrating Okta with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and directory services.
- Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP and hybrid identity environments.
- Experience with IAM security best practices, access governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Scripting/programming experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise IAM transformation or migration programs.
