About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health.
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions (e.g., refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctivitis).
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on clinical findings.
- Provide patient education regarding eye health, lens options, and preventative care.
- Identify signs of complex eye diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) for all patients.
- Collaborate with our optician and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and service.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD)
degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid state license to practice optometry.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional clinical experience.:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient satisfaction.
- Proficiency with up-to-date diagnostic equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,142.67 - ₹29,818.95 per month
