Job Title: WelderJob Summary

The Welder is responsible for joining metal components using appropriate welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Arc, or Gas welding. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring high-quality welds, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment in a protected working condition.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Set up welding machines based on job requirements.
- Weld materials using MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), Flux-core (FCAW), or Gas welding methods.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate metal cutting, grinding, and shaping tools as needed.
- Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Comply with safety regulations and use PPE at all times.
- Identify material defects and report any issues to supervisors.
- Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing,



or cleaning welds.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder (X years preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment.
- Good understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in heat, confined spaces, or at heights (if required).
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
