Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished steel products
- Ensure products comply with BIS and ISO standards:
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections as per quality plans
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection reports
- Handle and monitor calibration of measuring instruments:
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions
- Work closely with production and quality assurance teams
- Support internal and external audits
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Experience Required:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Quality Department
- Experience in Steel Industry preferred
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of BIS & ISO standards:
- Good understanding of Calibration procedures:
- Familiar with measuring instruments and testing methods
- Solid attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, documentation)
