Job Summary:
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, materials, and spare parts used in lift installation, maintenance, and repair activities. The role ensures proper storage, tracking, and timely issuance of materials to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of lift components, spare parts, and tools
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical items
- Perform regular stock audits and reconciliation
2. Material Receipt & Inspection
- Receive materials from vendors and verify against purchase orders
- Inspect items for quantity and quality
- Report any damages or discrepancies
3. Storage & Organization
- Ensure proper storage of lift parts (motors, panels, cables, controllers, etc.)
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas
- Follow proper labeling and identification systems
4. Material Issuance
- Issue materials to technicians and site teams as per requisitions
- Maintain records of material movement (inward/outward)
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals

Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and vendors
- Track material requirements for ongoing lift installation projects
- Arrange dispatch of materials to various project sites
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory software records
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports
- Keep records of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), delivery challans, and invoices
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety standards while handling heavy lift components
- Ensure proper handling of electrical/mechanical parts
- Maintain compliance with company policies
Required Qualifications:
- 10+2 / Diploma / Graduate (any discipline)
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in stores or warehouse management
- Experience in elevator, construction, or engineering industry preferred
