Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Technical Assistance
- Assist the dermatologist during consultations, minor procedures, and aesthetic treatments.
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures.
- Provide clear pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions to patients.
- Support laser treatments, chemical peels, facials, and other dermatology procedures (as trained and authorized).
- Accurately document patient information, treatment details, and clinical notes.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
Safety & Equipment Management
- Sterilize instruments and strictly follow infection control protocols.
- Disinfect treatment rooms and high-touch areas after every patient.
- Monitor, stock, and organize clinical supplies and consumables.
- Conduct routine checks of equipment and report any malfunction or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with clinic safety standards and healthcare regulations.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate patient movement between reception and treatment rooms for smooth workflow.
- Maintain inventory logs and assist in procurement of supplies.
- Prepare and manage consent forms, documentation, and procedure records.
- Support daily clinic operations to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
- Assist front desk staff when required to ensure seamless patient experience.
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma/Certificate in Medical Assistant, Nursing, Aesthetic Technician, or equivalent (preferred).
Experience:
- Prior experience in a dermatology, cosmetic, or medical clinic is an advantage.
