Job Overview: Lakhotia College of Design is seeking a skilled and passionate Fashion Design Faculty specializing in Pattern Making, Draping, and Garment Construction. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering practical and industry-oriented training to students, helping them develop strong garment construction and pattern development skills.

Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Training
- Conduct practical classes in Pattern Making, Draping, and Garment Construction.
- Teach both basic and advanced pattern drafting techniques.
- Demonstrate fabric draping techniques on dress forms/mannequins.
- Guide students in garment stitching, finishing, and construction methods.
- Train students in industrial garment construction standards.

Student Development
- Assist students in developing patterns for their design collections.
- Mentor students in portfolio and project development.
- Guide students during fashion shows, exhibitions,



and practical assessments.

Curriculum Support
- Support the academic team in developing course modules and practical assignments.
- Ensure students are trained in industry-relevant garment construction methods.

Lab & Studio Management
- Maintain discipline and workflow in the fashion lab / stitching studio.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of sewing machines, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or Apparel Design:
- Certification or specialization in Pattern Making / Draping preferred

- 2-5 years of industry or teaching experience in fashion design
