We are looking for a results-driven Agronomist specializing in protected cultivation to manage and optimize crop production in polyhouses and net houses. The role focuses on maximizing yield, quality, and profitability through precise control of climate, fertigation, and crop health.

Key Responsibilities1. Crop Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute crop cycles for high-value crops (strawberry, capsicum, cucumber, exotic vegetables, etc.)
- Develop planting schedules, spacing, and pruning strategies:
- Ensure optimal plant density and canopy management

2. Climate & Irrigation Management
- Monitor and control:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Ventilation
- Light intensity
- Optimize irrigation cycles using drip systems
- Maintain ideal VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) for crop stages

3. Fertigation Management
- Design and implement stage-wise fertigation schedules:




- Monitor EC, pH, and nutrient balance
- Adjust recipes based on crop stage, weather, and plant response
- Prevent nutrient deficiencies/toxicities

4. Pest & Disease Management (IPM)
- Develop and execute Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies:
- Regular crop scouting and early detection
- Use biological + chemical control in a residue-secure manner:
- Maintain spray schedules and records

5. Yield & Quality Optimization
- Drive higher yield per plant and per square meter
- Improve fruit size, uniformity, shelf life, and taste
- Minimize crop losses and rejection rates

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
