Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate centerless grinding machines for roller components
- Perform in-feed and through-feed grinding operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Measure parts using micrometers, verniers, dial gauges, and other precision tools
- Maintain required tolerances, surface finish, and roundness
- Dress grinding wheels and perform machine adjustments
- Inspect finished rollers for quality compliance
- Troubleshoot grinding defects and machine issues
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of machines
- Follow safety standards and production schedules
- Experience grinding rollers or cylindrical parts preferred
- Knowledge of grinding wheel selection and dressing
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
