An IT Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, software, and networks within an organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Support:
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
- Repair or replace faulty hardware components
- Perform regular maintenance of systems
- Software Installation & Support:
- Install operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Troubleshoot software-related issues
- Network Support:
- Set up and maintain LAN/WAN networks
- Configure routers, switches, and Wi-Fi connections
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- User Support:
- Provide technical assistance to employees (onsite & remote)
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve issues promptly
- Train users on basic IT usage and security practices
- Security & Data Management:




- Install antivirus and security software
- Perform regular data backups
- Ensure data privacy and system security compliance
- System Monitoring:
- Monitor system performance
- Conduct regular system updates and patches
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation

Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Job Types: Full time, Permanent
