Role Meter Installation ( MI Technician)

Job Objective

To install, replace, and maintain smart meters at assigned locations while ensuring

safety, accuracy, and compliance with project standards and company SOPs.

BOTAD, JAMNAGAR, KACHCHH, PORBANDAR,

SURENDRANAGAR CIRCLES

Primary Responsibilities

1. Install and commission smart meters at customer sites as per project guidelines

2. Conduct on-site testing and troubleshooting of meter connectivity

3. Ensure proper wiring, sealing, and installation safety compliance

5. Maintain daily installation reports and submit work status updates

6. Coordinate with supervisors for job allocation and escalation of issues

7. Handle customer queries professionally during field visits

8. Ensure zero damage to customer property during installation

9. Follow EHS and electrical safety protocols at all times

10.Meet assigned installation targets and timelines

1. Basic electrical and wiring knowledge

2. Use of handheld/mobile reporting tools

3. Achievement of daily/monthly installation targets

4. Accuracy in reporting and data submission

5. Compliance with safety standards

6. Qualified behavior at customer locations

7. Attendance and discipline as per company policy

8. Driving License and Bike mandatory - Bike expenses will be reimbursed as per

Qualification and Experience requirements
- Fresher/ Exp. ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Wireman or related field (preferred)
- Or 12th
