Key Responsibilities - Scrub Nurse
- Prepare sterile OT setup and instruments
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout surgery
- Assist surgeon by passing instruments
- Ensure correct instrument and sponge count
- Handle surgical specimens properly
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Assist in patient positioning and transfer
- Dispose biomedical waste as per guidelines
- Maintain OT documentation and records
- Coordinate with OT team and report issues
