Role & responsibilities

- Develop and execute procurement plans to ensure timely material availability for production.
- Manage supplier selection, evaluation, development, and performance to achieve QCD targets.
- Manage Purchase Orders, scheduling, supplier follow-ups, and delivery performance.
- Drive inventory planning, shortage management, CTB, excess inventory, and obsolescence control.
- Lead cost reduction, cost optimization, and supplier price negotiation initiatives.
- Monitor subcontracting, logistics, freight, material inward, and supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with PPC, Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Operations for seamless material flow.
- Monitor supplier quality, IQC rejections, RMA, and corrective actions.
- Ensure SCM governance, MRP/ERP compliance, process excellence, and QCD performance.
- Prepare and review SCM MIS, dashboards, supplier performance, inventory,



and procurement reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Engineering or MBA/PGDM.
- 612 years of experience in SCM / Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in Material Planning, Procurement & Inventory Management.
- Hands-on experience in Supplier Management, Vendor Development & Negotiation.
- Knowledge of Cost Reduction, QCD, Logistics & Supply Chain Operations.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP, MS Excel and MIS Reporting.
- Solid analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, supplier escalations and material availability.
