Job Summary

We are looking for experienced S/4HANA ABAP Consultants with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and strong exposure to end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ABAP development, S/4HANA architecture, custom developments, integrations, enhancements, and performance optimization. The candidate will work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in and contribute to end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and custom solutions in S/4HANA.
- Develop and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows (RICEF).
- Work extensively with ABAP Objects, Classes, Interfaces, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- Develop and optimize applications using ABAP on HANA concepts.
- Work with CDS Views, AMDP, SQL, and modern S/4HANA development approaches.
- Develop and support integrations using OData, REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
- Work on SAP Fiori/UI5-related backend development and OData services.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Ensure developments follow SAP coding standards and S/4HANA best practices.
- Prepare technical specifications, unit test cases, technical documentation, and deployment documents.
- Coordinate with functional consultants, integration teams, QA teams, and business users throughout implementation and testing cycles.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives.





Required Skills

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven experience in end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in ABAP / ABAP Objects.
- Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with RICEF development.
- Robust knowledge of BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, Function Modules, and Interfaces.
- Experience with IDocs, RFCs, OData Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and Web Services.
- Good understanding of S/4HANA data models and simplification concepts.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 backend services is preferred.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, or modernization projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, OData, and REST APIs.
- Exposure to SAP BTP / Integration Suite.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and implementation lifecycle.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA extensibility concepts and Clean Core principles.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
