Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist doctors in diagnosing and treating patients. The role requires ensuring patient safety, proper equipment handling, and accurate imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray procedures as prescribed by doctors
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging
- Ensure patient safety and follow radiation protection protocols
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment
- Process and review images for clarity and accuracy
- Maintain patient records and imaging reports
- Follow hygiene and safety standards in the radiology department
- Coordinate with doctors and other medical staff
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive communication and patient-handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology / Radiography
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center preferred
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
