Implement and executes management protocols and monitoring crop activities under the responsibility of R & D Operations to meet volume, quality and timelines set by the Ops & breeding.
Job description
- Expert responsible for crop agronomy in Open field & Polyhouse (crop conduct, crop protection, irrigation, fertigation, nursery management, Postharvest activities etc) on R&D; site
- Provide guidance to technical team while maintaining team-oriented and productive relationship with clients (breeders, support functions)
- Provides input to Station Manager/Agronomy Manager for weekly planning of field and greenhouse activities
- Works in compliance with company internal and local Health and Safety regulations
- Define and follow work protocols and processes agreed with breeders.
- Support in data recording in the R & D Analytical tools / as assigned by the manager
- Follow guidelines of SHIELD internal phytosanitary protocol at R & D site
What we expect of you
Preferably a Postgraduate in Agriculture with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience or more in R & D Operations or similar field; basic command of English; good computer skills.
