PRINCIPAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work with logistics team and supply chain team to:
- Identify, evaluate and implement carbon reduction measures across logistics value chains
- Support in monitoring logistics emission intensity metrics, Logistics Service Provider benchmarking on actual vs targets
- Develop business cases for adoption of alternative fuels / zero-emission vehicles (EVs, CNG, CBG, LNG, Biofuels, Hydrogen, etc.), and support infrastructure
- Work with logistics, plant operations, and sustainability teams to integrate decarbonization roadmap into logistics strategy and vendor selection
- Conduct techno-commercial studies and sensitivity analysis for transition solutions
- Coordinate pilot projects for recent technologies and assess scalability
- Track and report decarbonization performance KPIs and support audit and disclosure requirements

This profile will work closely with various stakeholders to overcome the following broad challenges:
- Limited data visibility across networks and multiple Logistics Service Providers
- Volatility in fuel markets and evolving green fleet economics
- Resistance to change from transport partners and internal operating teams
- Infrastructural gaps for green fleet

- Finalization and monitoring of emission calculation methodologies, and data validation standards
