Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport passengers or goods: Safely drive passengers or company products to their destinations, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues to the fleet manager.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to Traffic Laws: Follow all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a safe and professional driving record.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents or issues.
- Safety Standards: Always ensure the vehicle is secure, clean, and equipped with the necessary safety equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with passengers or clients.
- Assist with Loading and Unloading: If necessary, help with the loading and unloading of goods.
- Communicate with Dispatchers: Report any traffic, delays, or issues on the road in real-time.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver, courier, or in a related role preferred.
- Knowledge of Road Safety and traffic laws.
- Physical Fitness to assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
- Good Communication Skills for interacting with passengers, clients, and colleagues.
- Punctuality and Reliability: Be able to adhere to the 7 AM shift start time and perform duties with mínimal supervision.
