Jewellery CAD Designer & Renderer

About the Role

Varni Gems is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer & Renderer to join our team in Surat. You will be responsible for creating production-ready CAD designs, producing high-quality photorealistic renders, and creating 360° video animations for our jewellery collections and custom customer orders. If you can also sketch designs by hand, that's a strong bonus.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Design
- Create accurate, production-ready jewellery CAD designs using Rhino, MatrixGold, or equivalent jewellery CAD software
- Develop custom CAD designs for customer orders based on sketches, references, images, and specifications
- Modify and optimise existing designs for production feasibility and cost efficiency
- Ensure proper stone placement, proportions, prong/setting accuracy, and manufacturing suitability
- Design rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, and solitaire jewellery

Rendering & 360° Video
- Produce high-quality,



photorealistic renders of jewellery pieces from multiple angles using KeyShot, Blender, or equivalent rendering software
- Create 360° turntable video animations for each piece, ready for use on websites, social media, and customer presentations
- Prepare visuals for customer approvals, marketing materials, and internal use
- Support the sales team with quick-turnaround renders and videos for custom order discussions

File & Data Management
- Maintain and organise all company 3DM/CAD files and design data with proper file naming and version control
- Build a structured design library for easy access and future reference
- Ensure regular backups of all design files

Coordination
- Work closely with the sales team to fulfil customer order CAD and visual requirements
- Coordinate with the production/manufacturing team to ensure all designs are technically feasible
- Support current collection development wit
