Tanker Shipping Operator Job In India:
Main Purpose:To ensure proper operation of TC vessels and maximize performance - time charter equivalent (TCE), following global standards and International regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake voyage planning to meet international regulation and respond to vessel issues
- Handle bunker optimisation
- Review stowage planning
- Coordinate Agency appointments
- Provide Voyage Orders to vessels
- Monitor vessels performance during all voyages i.e.speed and consumption, tank cleaning optimization
- Handle questionnaires, certificates, LOI’s and all relevant supporting docs
- Vetting
- Update company’s software with required data
- Working with internal and external counterparties to ensure the smooth management of ongoing operations, including pre and post operations activities
- Ensure systems are updated at all times with accurate data
- Verify supporting documents against data entry in respective systems,
and raising any query to relevant department in case of inconsistent data
- Capturing and posting invoices, credit and debit notes and posting recharges as may be required
