- Type laboratory test results from handwritten notes or digital dictation
- Format reports according to hospital standards
- Ensure accuracy of patient information (name, age, ID, doctor, test details)
- Proofread reports before submission
2️ Data Entry & Record Management
- Enter test results into system
- Maintain patient records confidentially
- Update and archive laboratory reports
- Retrieve reports upon request
3️ Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with lab technicians and pathologists for clarification
- Ensure timely release of reports
- Inform concerned staff of urgent or critical reports (as instructed)
4️ Confidentiality & Compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data
- Follow hospital policies and data protection guidelines
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
5️ Administrative Support
- Assist in report printing and dispatch
- Organize daily workload efficiently
- Support laboratory administrative tasks when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- Previous hospital or laboratory experience preferred
Skills Required:
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Positive knowledge of medical terminology
