The Khaka Artist role is a specialized design position focused on creating intricate pattern templates (khaka) for embroidery and têxtile embellishment. The goal is to develop distinctive patterns that elevate the brand's made-to-order garments into wearable art.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing original khaka designs that honor traditional techniques while resonating with contemporary luxury aesthetics. This involves drawing inspiration from diverse sources while aligning with seasonal collection themes and the brand's aesthetic.
- Creating precise pattern templates on specialized tracing paper for transfer to luxury têxtiles. This also includes creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for khaka implementation.
- Placing and adapting khaka patterns onto various garment silhouettes with perfect proportion and balance, demonstrating an understanding of how the pattern interacts with fabric drape and garment construction




- Maintaining detailed documentation of all khaka designs for the brand's archive and future reference.
- Providing technical guidance to embroidery artisans regarding pattern execution and techniques
- Balancing intricate detailing with the overall garment design for harmonious final pieces

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in khaka design, têxtile pattern-making, or related specialized artistic work
- Exceptional freehand drawing skills with immaculate precision and consistency. Advanced freehand drawing skills and precision in motif scaling and spacing are crucial.
- Experience working with luxury fashion brands or high-end têxtile design.
