Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage welding & fabrication activities at site/workshop.
- Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Lead and coordinate welders, fabricators, and helpers.
- Inspect welding joints and fabrication work for quality compliance.
- Plan daily work schedules and allocate manpower effectively.
- Monitor productivity and ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and material control.
- Follow and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
- Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC team, and project managers.
- Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
Qualification Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory):
- Minimum 15 years of experience in welding and fabrication supervision.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, MIG, TIG, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience in industrial / oil & gas / construction projects preferred.
