Job Summary

Visa Counsellor - Roles & Responsibilities

1: Student Counselling & Profile Assessment

Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents

Assess academic background, career goals, and financial capacity

Suggest suitable countries (e.g., Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States)

Guide students on course and university selection

2 University Application Process

Assist in shortlisting universities/colleges

Guide students in SOP, LOR, and resume preparation

Track offer letters and admission deadlines

3 Visa Documentation & Filing

Explain visa requirements clearly to clients

Prepare and review visa documentation checklist

Verify financial documents and eligibility criteria

Coordinate biometric and interview appointments

4 Visitor & Tourist Visa Handling

Review travel history & financial documents

Prepare covering letters & documentation





Track visa status and updates

5 Client Relationship Management

Follow up with prospective leads

Provide timely updates to applicants

Handle client queries and objections professionally

Maintain positive client experience

6 Record Keeping & Reporting

Maintain student database and documentation records

Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports

7 Business Development Support

Participate in seminars, webinars, and education fairs

Generate referrals and build partnerships

Support marketing campaigns when required
