Role Overview

ECOR Greentech is seeking a Physicist with solid expertise in computational modeling and simulation to support R&D; activities in plasma systems, radiation physics, and multiphysics-based clean technology development. The role involves building and validating simulation models using MCNP and COMSOL Multiphysics, working closely with experimental and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop physics-based simulation models using MCNP for radiation transport and particle interactions
- Perform multiphysics simulations in COMSOL (electromagnetic, thermal, plasma, or coupled systems)
- Define geometry, materials, boundary conditions, and solver configurations
- Analyze and interpret simulation results and correlate with experimental data
- Support plasma-based processes, energy systems, and advanced clean-tech R&D; projects
- Optimize system design parameters through simulation-driven insights




- Prepare technical reports, simulation documentation, and presentations
- Assist in prototype design validation and pilot-scale studies
- Collaborate with materials, chemical, mechanical, and plasma engineering teams

Requirements:
- M.Sc./Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Nuclear Physics, or related field
- Hands-on experience with MCNP and COMSOL Multiphysics:
- Strong understanding of radiation physics, plasma physics, or electromagnetics
- Ability to translate physical systems into computational models
- Experience with data analysis and post-processing (Python / MATLAB preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
