Job Summary
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of steel fabricated components
- Ensure products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements:
- Inspect fabrication activities including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and painting:
- Perform visual welding inspections and/or painting inspections including DFT (Dry Film Thickness):
- Identify non-conformities and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA):
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and checklists:
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Support internal and external quality audits:
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and process standards on the shop floor
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of QC experience in Steel / Metal Fabrication Industry:
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings:
- Hands-on knowledge of measuring instruments:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Measuring Tape
- Height Gauge
- Bevel Protractor
- Experience in basic Welding Inspection or Painting Inspection:
- Positive knowledge of MS (Mild Steel) fabrication processes
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
