Role Overview
n PYP Coordinator to lead the effective implementation and continuous development of the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) . The ideal candidate will be a collaborative instructional leader who can mentor teachers, strengthen inquiry-based learning and ensure alignment with IB standards and practices.
n Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the implementation of the IB PYP across the primary school.n
- Guide teachers in inquiry-based, concept-driven and transdisciplinary learning .n
- Facilitate collaborative planning, curriculum mapping and review of Units of Inquiry.n
- Support teachers in developing effective assessment strategies and documentation.n
- Mentor, coach and develop teachers through observations, feedback and professional learning.n
- Promote student agency, learner profile attributes and international-mindedness .n
- Monitor curriculum implementation and identify areas for continuous improvement.n
- Work closely with the Principal and academic leadership team on curriculum and school development.n




- Coordinate PYP documentation, policies and IB-related requirements.n
- Support the school during IB authorization, evaluation and programme development processes.n
- Conduct workshops and orientation sessions for teachers and parents to strengthen understanding of the PYP.n
- Foster a collaborative, reflective and inclusive professional learning community.n

n Qualifications & Experience
n
- n
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or a relevant discipline .n
- 5–8+ years of teaching experience in an IB PYP school and good experience as a PYP Coordinator.n
- Prior experience as a PYP Coordinator, PYP Lead or Curriculum Coordinator is highly preferred.n
- Solid understanding of IB PYP standards, practices and approaches to teaching and learning.n
- IB PYP workshop/training certification is preferred.n
