Greeting from Leadsoc Technologies_ Bangalore Senior Linux System Software Engineer Experience: 8 Years Location: Bangalore Role: Senior / Lead Linux System Software Engineer Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Linux System Software Engineer with strong knowledge of Linux internals, memory management, IPC, multithreading, USB subsystems, and GPU architecture/integration. The engineer will work on low-level system software, performance-critical applications, and hardware-software integration. Key Responsibilities & Skills Solid C/C++ programming with hands-on Linux system-level development and debugging. Deep understanding of Linux internals : process management, scheduling, system calls, interrupts, kernel/user space and synchronization. Strong knowledge of memory management : virtual/physical memory, paging, MMU, page tables, heap/stack, mmap, DMA, shared memory and memory leaks. Hands-on multithreading and concurrency : POSIX threads, mutexes, semaphores, spinlocks, condition variables, race conditions and deadlocks.



Strong IPC knowledge: pipes, FIFO, shared memory, message queues, signals, sockets and synchronization mechanisms. Experience with USB architecture and drivers : USB Host/Device, enumeration, endpoints, transfers, USB classes and debugging. Understanding of GPU architecture and programming model , CPU–GPU interaction, memory sharing, DMA, graphics/compute pipelines; CUDA/OpenCL exposure is preferred. Experience in Linux device drivers, kernel modules, BSP and hardware-software integration is highly desirable. Strong debugging/performance-analysis skills using GDB, Valgrind, strace, perf, ftrace, crash/core dumps and kernel logs . Good understanding of Git, Make/CMake, GCC/Clang, cross-compilation, Linux build environments and scripting (Bash/Python) . Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, ECE or equivalent engineering discipline.
