Job Position: Camunda Developer Location: Pune Experience: 5 to 10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. • Build and support Camunda 8 workflow solutions using BPMN 2.0. • Develop Zeebe Job Workers using Java and Spring Boot. • Assist in designing and implementing event-driven microservices. • Integrate REST APIs and messaging systems (Kafka or similar) with Camunda workflows. • Participate in workflow testing, debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization. • Implement workflow error handling, retries, and exception management. • Work with relational databases using JPA/Hibernate. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver workflow automation solutions. • Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD processes. • Follow software engineering best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines. Required Skills • Experience in Java backend development. • Strong knowledge of Java 11/17 and Spring Boot. • Basic understanding of Spring WebFlux or Reactive Programming.
• Hands-on experience or exposure to Camunda 8. • Understanding of BPMN 2.0 workflow modeling. • Knowledge of Zeebe and Camunda Job Workers. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integrations. • Basic knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms. • Experience with JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases. • Understanding of microservices architecture. • Working knowledge of Git and GitHub. • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions is a plus). • Valuable debugging and analytical skills. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills • Exposure to DMN (Decision Model & Notation). • Understanding of event-driven architecture concepts. • Basic knowledge of workflow monitoring using Camunda Operate and Optimize. • Exposure to Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Familiarity with OAuth2 authentication. • Knowledge of Spring Batch. Experience in Banking or Financial Services projects is an advantage.
