Company: Real Estate Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have 1–4 years of accounting experience , possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and be proficient in Tally . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing organisation in the environmental services and waste management sector , supporting end-to-end accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime/Tally ERP. Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries accurately. Maintain ledgers, cash book, and general accounting records. Ensure proper bookkeeping and compliance with company accounting procedures. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process vendor invoices and customer payments. Prepare payment vouchers and maintain vendor records. Reconcile customer and supplier accounts. Follow up on outstanding receivables when required. Bank & Financial Reconciliation Perform regular bank reconciliations.
Reconcile ledger balances and identify discrepancies. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports. GST & Compliance Support Maintain GST records and assist in GST return preparation. Organise invoices, vouchers, and statutory documents. Support auditors during internal and statutory audits. Administrative & MIS Support Prepare basic MIS reports and accounting summaries. Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation. Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities. Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by management. Skills Required Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field. 1–4 years of experience in accounting. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles . Hands-on experience with Tally Prime/Tally ERP . Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office. Basic understanding of GST and bank reconciliation . Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. Good organisational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
