TRAVEL SALES EXECUTIVE Company : FusionFly Position : Travel Sales Executive. Experience : 1 to 4 years in travel sales, holiday packages, tourism, hospitality, or a similar sales role. Employment Type : Full-time. Location : Bhayandar Important Note: This is an on-site position based in Bhayandar, Mumbai. We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Travel Sales Executive who can take qualified leads from the first conversation to successful booking. The ideal candidate should be confident on calls, understand customer requirements, have strong persuasion and negotiation skills, and know how to convert enquiries into confirmed travel bookings. Key Responsibilities: Lead Management • Handle and manage incoming leads generated through digital marketing, social media, website enquiries, referrals, and other channels. • Contact new leads promptly and understand their travel requirements, preferences, budget, dates, group size, and expectations. • Maintain systematic follow-ups with prospects throughout the sales cycle. • Keep lead information, conversations, quotations, follow-ups, and booking status updated in the company's CRM or lead management system. • Prioritise leads based on buying intent and maximise conversion opportunities. Sales and Conversion • Sell domestic and international holiday packages based on customer requirements. • Explain itineraries, hotels, sightseeing, transfers, inclusions, exclusions, flights, activities, and other package components clearly to customers. • Present quotations in a compelling manner and communicate the value of the package rather than simply discussing price. • Handle customer objections related to pricing, hotels, itinerary, trust, payment, competition, timing, and decision-making. • Negotiate with customers within company guidelines and work towards profitable closures. • Create urgency and guide customers towards making confident booking decisions without using misleading or aggressive sales practices.



• Follow up consistently with interested prospects until they convert, postpone, or become unqualified. • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets. Customer Interaction • Build strong relationships with customers through professional and personalised communication. • Understand the customer's purpose of travel, preferred experience, budget, expectations, and concerns. • Recommend suitable destinations, packages, hotels, activities, and travel options based on the customer's needs. • Handle customer questions and concerns before and during the booking process. • Coordinate with internal operations, ticketing, hotel, and destination teams to ensure accurate information is communicated to the customer. • Ensure a smooth handover from sales to operations after booking confirmation. Sales Follow-Up and Relationship Management: • Maintain regular communication with warm and high-intent leads. • Re-engage old and dormant leads where appropriate. • Track pending quotations, payment commitments, booking decisions, and follow-up dates. • Build a strong pipeline of potential customers and maintain healthy conversion rates. • Encourage referrals and repeat bookings through excellent customer relationships. What We Are Looking For • 1 to 4 years of experience in travel sales, holiday packages, tourism, hospitality, or related sales roles. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent conversational and interpersonal skills. • Comfortable making a high volume of sales calls and handling multiple prospects simultaneously. • Strong objection handling, negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities. • Customer-focused approach with a strong understanding of sales psychology. • Ability to identify customer buying intent and move prospects through the sales funnel. • Valuable understanding of domestic and international holiday packages is preferred. • Familiarity with destinations, hotels, flights, sightseeing, transfers, visas, and basic travel terminology is an advantage.



• Experience working with CRM systems, lead management tools, WhatsApp, email, and other customer communication platforms is preferred. • Comfortable working with sales targets and performance-based KPIs. • Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with the wider team. Key Performance Indicators. Performance in this role will primarily be evaluated on measurable sales outcomes, including. • Lead-to-call connection rate. • Lead qualification rate. • Quotation to booking conversion rate. • Overall lead-to-booking conversion rate. • Revenue generated. • Gross margin or profitability generated. • Number of confirmed bookings. • Follow-up effectiveness. • Average response time to new leads. • Customer satisfaction and repeat business. Preferred Candidate Profile. We are looking for someone who is sales-hungry, confident, persistent, and genuinely interested in trave l . The right candidate should not simply take enquiries and send quotations. They should be capable of understanding the customer, identifying what is stopping them from booking, communicating the value of the package, handling objections, following up intelligently, and ultimately closing the sale. Someone who says, “I sent the quotation; now I am waiting for the customer”, is not the profile we are looking for.
