Role: Junior Abinitio Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 4–6 Years ️ Core Skills: Ab Initio | ETL | AWS | Data Engineering Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Junior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ETL platforms, Ab Initio, and large-scale data pipelines . The role involves developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and modernising ETL solutions, including migration of legacy workloads to cloud-native architectures . Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support complex ETL workflows using Ab Initio . Analyse production issues, understand business/data flows, and provide effective solutions. Design and recommend scalable, reliable ETL and data engineering solutions. Work closely with product, platform, engineering, and operations teams . Support legacy ETL modernisation and migration initiatives to cloud platforms. Develop cloud-based ETL pipelines using technologies such as AWS Glue and PySpark . Participate in production support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and issue resolution.



Work in shifts and provide rotational weekend support as required. Contribute to engineering best practices around CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment. Preferred Skills Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio and ETL development . Positive understanding of data pipelines, data integration, and batch processing . Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP , preferably AWS. Experience with AWS Glue and PySpark is an advantage. Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven services . Understanding of microservices, containers, and Kubernetes . Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production support . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
