Key Responsibilities (What You Will Own): Technical Strategy: Identify Best Cost Technology (BCT) & yield improvement opportunities, collaborating with R&D; and Operations to implement action items at site. Process Intensification: Conduct rigorous technical assessments of critical unit operations—including Heat Transfer, Distillation, Mixing, and Filtration —to optimize time cycles and energy efficiency. Project Implementation: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of technical improvements—from developing process schemes/POCs, vendor identification, and CER preparation to final site execution. Technology Evaluation: Assess and trial energy-productive alternate technologies, managing cross-functional stakeholders for seamless adoption. EHS & Sustainability: Partner with the EHS department to identify improvement projects, upgradation of ETP facilities, and drive initiatives for safer handling/automation of hazardous chemicals. Quality & Collaboration: Participate in Cross-Functional Teams (CFT)
to resolve recurring quality complaints rooted in process deviations. Digital Transformation: Leverage experience in Plant Automation and Digital tools to upgrade current processes. Who We Are Looking For: Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory). Experience: 8 to 12 years of post-qualification experience. Core Background: Must come from a strong background in Process Engineering, New Product Development (NPD), or Technology Transfer . Experience on the manufacturing floor is non-negotiable. Soft Skills: Agile, proactive, and an excellent communicator. Must be willing to travel extensively across Pan-India to support various sites. Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in Plant Automation and Digital initiatives will have a distinct advantage.
