Hiring : Senior Java Engineer (Kafka / Streaming Focus)

Scope of Work

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs .
- Build secure microservices with JWT authentication , validation, and error handling.
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, and aggregation pipelines.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS EC2 and IAM .
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Design and implement real-time streaming solutions using Apache Kafka .
- Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets.
- Configure and maintain Kafka Connect integrations.
- Build CDC pipelines using Debezium for MySQL/Aurora data capture.
- Manage Schema Registry and schema evolution using Avro/JSON.
- Develop stream-processing applications using Kafka Streams or Flink .
- Monitor Kafka environments, including DLQs, consumer lag, and performance .
- Support Kafka deployments on Confluent Platform or AWS MSK .





Mandatory Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development .
- Strong knowledge of JWT authentication, validation, and exception handling .
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB schema design, indexing, and aggregations .
- Experience with AWS EC2 and IAM .
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes .
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of DSA , including arrays, trees, graphs, hashing, and complexity.
- Expertise in Apache Kafka , including topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets.
- Experience with Kafka Connect source and sink connectors.
- Knowledge of Debezium CDC , binlog capture, and GTID handling.
- Familiarity with Schema Registry , Avro, and JSON schema evolution.
- Experience with Kafka Streams or Apache Flink .
- Knowledge of DLQ handling, lag monitoring, and Kafka tuning .
- Exposure to Confluent Platform or AWS MSK preferred.
